Is generative art a tool for NFT art?

While the art style has been around for decades, generative art recently gained popularity as a tool for NFT artwork thanks to artists like Tyler Hobbs, Snowfro and Pak. Generative art is a distinct form of art that often uses autonomous systems or algorithms to randomly generate content.

What are NFTS & how do they work?

They are assigned unique identification codes and metadata that distinguish them from other tokens. NFTs can be traded and exchanged for money, cryptocurrencies, or other NFTs—it all depends on the value the market and owners have placed on them. For instance, you could use an exchange to create a token for an image of a banana.

Where can I find generated NFTS?

Furthermore, for the purpose of this example project, we’ve also added lines of code that generate NFTs or their final artwork to your computer. As such, after running our NFT generating engine, you can find ten generated NFTs inside the “output” folder. That way, you can see the results locally.

Are NFTS fungible?

NFTs function like cryptographic tokens, but unlike cryptocurrencies, NFTs are not usually mutually interchangeable, so they are not fungible. [a] A non-fungible token contains data links, for example which point to details about where the associated art is stored, that can be affected by link rot.
